How we tamed a data monster and locked it into a slick dashboard.

An international company was having difficulty accounting for sales reported by customers because there was no standard format for sales reports and each report was structured differently.

We analyzed the entire process, developed a browser-based solution for the different sales reports that feeds them into a central database and at the same time manages plausibility checks of the reported sales. Using a business intelligence tool available on the market, we developed a dashboard for the management that displays the reported sales in a structured manner.

The customer is now able to record sales more quickly as well as provide analyses of the various markets and product movements. The process as a whole is now streamlined and management has 24/7 access to up-to-date data.
